HW review: Angel of Suffering by THE SEVEN GATES

THE SEVEN GATES
are a premiere Death-Metal quartet from Macon, France who infuse bits and pieces of old-school metal with a newer, more progressive influence and thrash-inspired guitar on Angel of Suffering. It is a distinct album whose fierceness and energy remains consistent throughout its entire duration. Certainly one of the most talented acts HailsWebzine has had the pleasure of reviewing. The band has been receiving spectacular praise from countless other e-zines, magazines, and reviewers worldwide, and the band's rapidly expanding fan-count seems to go up by the hours. The album, which was released on May 12th by Heavy Artillery, is an absolute must-buy for all thrash fans and supporters of the French metal scene.
